Baramulla, 13th December 2022: Security forces have detected an IED (improvised explosive device) planted by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla. According to information, an IED was planted by terrorists in Baramulla in North Kashmir. As soon as the information was received, a team of Bomb Disposal Squad members reached the spot and defused the explosive.

 

The Indian Army said that an explosive device, weighing two-three kg, was detected in the Tulibal area of Jammu and Kashmir this morning. The suspected IED was concealed in an excavated area. According to the Indian Army, the IED was safely defused by the bomb disposal team. Within about two hours, traffic was restored on the state highway.

 

According to news agency ANI, security forces received information about a suspected IED in the Tulibal area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, following which Sopore Police, 52RR and CRPF personnel reached the spot. The IED was defused after an operation that lasted two hours.
