Patna, February 23, 2021: Newly elected BJP MLA from Jamui Shreyasi Singh and Lead of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav came to face to face during the proceedings in Bihar Assembly Tuesday. Both the youth leaders argued with each other regarding the issues of the youth. There was a fierce debate between the two. While answering the questions of Tejashwi Yadav, Shreyasi also had to face the displeasure of the Speaker while speaking for the first time in the Assembly.

During the second shift of the Assembly of the Governor’s address, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav spoke and mentioned the bad situation of the state in sports. He asked whether the government does not want the players of Bihar to make their mark.
Tejashwi said, “In the last 15 years, the state government did not make any such arrangement that could encourage sports and sportspersons.” While speaking his words, Tejashwi asked Jamui MLA and international shooter, Shreyasi Singh, about any international level shooting range anywhere in Bihar, where the talent of Bihar can get a chance to emerge and win the gold medal.

Shreyasi answered Tejashwi’s allegations
Responding to Tejashwi’s attack on the government on the pretext of sports and sportspersons, Shreyasi Singh referred to the announcements made in the budget. Shreyasi Singh interrupted Tejashwi Yadav and said that in the budget yesterday, it has been announced that sports university will be started in Rajgir. “As far as starting the shooting range in Bihar is concerned, it has been taken up for discussion with Art and Culture Minister Alok Ranjan. He has assured that arrangements will be made for the same in Bihar.” Shreyasi requested Tejashwi not to worry and that they will look after all the matters of the state.
Tejaswi called Shreyasi a batchmate

While saying his words, Tejashwi Yadav told Shreyasi Singh that “You have studied in school with me and have been my batchmate. However, the government should inform what the government has done in the field of sports in the last fifteen years. As far as Sports University is concerned, it was prepared during our tenure, simply its name has been changed.”
