Patna, February 24, 2021: The Bihar government is now alert after the sudden rise in corona infection (Covid-19) in six states of the country. The government has instructed all districts to identify infected people and conduct Corona Test.

The Holi, festival of colours, will be celebrated on March 29. The government is already worried about millions of people returning to Bihar.

Patna’s Civil Surgeon Dr Vibha Kumari Singh has said that from now on the list of doctors is being prepared and they will be posted at the airport, railway stations and bus stops.

Dr Vibha said that the district administration would also take full help from the health department so that people from outside could not refuse to conduct an investigation. Magistrates and police forces will be deployed in all public places along with a team of doctors, who will conduct a COVID test after the thermal screening of people coming from outside.

The latest figure of positive patients in Bihar has now reached 500. Statistics have started increasing in many states including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Kerala. In these states, a large number of Bihari people work. A large number of them will return home for a Holi celebration. In such a situation, there is a big challenge for the railway administration as well, about arrangements to be made for the lakhs of people coming to Bihar.
