Kashmir, 16th August 2022: A day after the celebration of Independence Day, the case of target killing has again come to the fore in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists opened fire on civilians in Shopian and killed a Kashmiri Pandit. The brother of the deceased was also seriously injured in the incident. The deceased is identified as Sunil Kumar Bhatt and his brother as Pintu Kumar.

Kashmir Zone Police informed that the terrorists opened fire at Apple Orchard at Chotipora in Shopian. During this, a person from the minority community died. At the same time, another person has been injured.
According to reports, the entire area has been sealed after the incident.
On Monday, two people, including a civilian from the minority community, were injured in two grenade attacks by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the police, the terrorists carried out two grenade attacks within an hour. The first attack was carried out in a minority settlement at Chadoora in Budgam district, while the second attack was carried out at the police control room in Srinagar.
