Islamabad, 3rd November 2023: In Islamabad, Pakistan, a major terrorist attack unfolded at the Mianwali Training Air Base, located in the Punjab province of the neighboring country. The incident involved six terrorists who initiated the assault on Saturday morning. The Pakistani Army promptly responded, managing to neutralize three of the attackers before they could breach the base, while the remaining six were surrounded and engaged.

During the attack, the terrorists inflicted significant damage by destroying three grounded fighter planes and a fuel tanker at the Pakistan Mianwali Airbase. Following the operation, the army successfully regained control of the area. In the retaliatory efforts, nine terrorists lost their lives. Numerous reports and videos from Pakistani journalists have emerged, showing alleged unidentified gunmen targeting the Air Force training base in Mianwali, resulting in injuries to several individuals.

According to reports from Pakistan’s media, the spokesperson of the Islamic terrorist group Tehreek-e-Jihad claimed responsibility for the assault on the Air Force base. In the preceding week, there were separate attacks by terrorists on security forces in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) region, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement.

In response to these events, an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was initiated in the Tirah area of Khyber district, which ultimately led to the firing incident.
