JAMMU, OCTOBER 16, 2020: Principal Government Medical College Jammu, Dr Nasib Chand Digra today said that the management has sufficient stock of Oxygen cylinders to meet the requirement for covid patients in the MCH and Associated Hospitals.
The Principal GMC informed that a total 951 oxygen cylinders were consumed in last 24 hours including 922 in GMC and 29 in CDH. He added that GMC has buffer stock of 600 cylinders whereas CD hospital has 70 cylinders in buffer stock.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent GMC, Dara Singh informed that GMC has total 103 patients out of which 23 are in isolation ward, 13 are in CCU, 25 in ward no 3, 22 in ward no 7 and 20 in HDU.
Out of 103 patients in GMC, 30 have been provided with ventilator support or bipap facility. The Chest Disease hospital has 33 patients and all have been provided with oxygen supply facility. He further informed that two deaths have been reported in GMC in last 24 hours.
