KISHTWAR, OCTOBER 16, 2020: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Kishtwar Mohammad Hanief Malik today chaired District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting here at VC room of DC Office Complex Kishtwar and reviewed the sector wise performance of banks for the quarter ended March 2020, June 2020 and September 2020.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Pawan Parihar, Joint Director Planning Mohammad Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Development Kishore Singh Katoch, LDM Kishtwar Nasir Bhat, Assistant Labour Commissioner Kishtwar Anoop Kumar, DDM NABARD Kishtwar Nikhil Sharma, the representatives from various Banks, Cluster Head J&K Bank besides concerned district officers attended the meeting.

At the outset threadbare discussion were held on achievements of priority and Non priority sectors vis a vis Annual Credit Plan ( ACP) and other individual beneficiary Schemes.

The concerned Departments and bankers shared their views on account of non achievement of the desired targets in respect of some priority sector segments.

The ADDC asked heads of the banks to take further necessary steps to increase the CD ratio in the district. He asked the sponsoring agencies to support maximum cases for increasing the SME credit in the district besides sponsoring highest cases of KCC to all the banks.

He impressed upon the banks to create awareness among the common masses about different social security schemes and enroll maximum beneficiaries under such schemes.

The ADDC also asked them to conduct more financial literacy camps in the upcoming “My town My pride” programme besides utilizing the platform like block diwas for bringing the awareness and sensitization of common masses in all parts of the district for larger interest of the deserving segments of the society.

The meeting concluded with the resolve to increase the CD Ratio and priority sector advances in the remaining months of the FY 2020- 21 in the District.
