REASI, SEPTEMBER 12, 2020: The R-Stations at Panthal and Dharmari were refurbished by the Power Development Department to improve power scenario in these areas.
The Power Development Department replaced 11 KV obsolete VCB panels by 5+1 panel set at 33/11 KV receiving station at Dharmari and 5+1 panel set at 31/11 KV receiving station at Panthal. The replacement work has been done as per the directions of the District Development Commissioner Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib.
While giving details of the projects, the Assistant Executive Engineer JPDCL STD Katra, Surinder Kumar informed that both the projects have been completed under the languishing scheme with the total estimated cost of Rs.45.10 Lakh.
“With the commissioning of these two panel sets, nearly eleven thousand people will be benefited “, he added. He further added that, there was a dispute in this scheme due to which it was in a limbo but now after timely mediation by DC Reasi this work has been completed.
He further said that Power Development Department Reasi is making persistent efforts to meet the demand of power supply in the District and necessary measures are being taken to redress the grievances of the general public in a timely manner to provide them necessary services in terms of power supply and to mitigate their sufferings at the earliest.
