SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 12, 2020: AYUSH Doctor’s Association Kashmir today called on Financial Commissioner (FC), Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo here and discussed service matters and other related issues. The Association also highlighted the achievements of the Indian System of Medicine J&K and praised the Financial Commissioner and the Director ISM for their support and guidance.
The Association held threadbare discussions with the FC on the issues and sought their redressal at an earliest.
The issues discussed include holding of DPCs of all cadres, creation of posts of physician specialists, pharmacist and nursing orderly for ISM institutions. The Association also demanded referring the vacant posts of the department to the recruiting agencies besides demanding enhancement in remuneration of sweepers and their absorption as safaiwallas.
They also demanded implementation of transfer policy and creation of welfare fund on the analogy of police department.
AYUSH Association also raised the issue of providing First Aid Facility at ISM institutions, creation of the post of Drug Controller (AYUSH), designation of the post of ADMO as district AYUSH officer and commissioning of Unani Medical College.
The Financial Commissioner gave patient to the issues and demands raised by the AYUSH Association and assured the delegation that all their genuine issues will be addressed an earliest.
