Bhopal, 16th March 2021: After the night curfew and lockdown in several cities of Maharashtra, now the Madhya Pradesh government has also announced night curfew in Bhopal and Indore in view of the increasing cases of coronavirus disease (COVID19).

It has been decided to impose a night curfew in both cities from March 17 until further orders. Apart from this, the state government has also imposed some restrictions on markets in Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Ratlam, Burhanpur, Chhindwara, Betul and Khargon. Here, markets have been ordered to close after 10 pm.

Restrictions are already in force in cities like Nagpur, Pune, Akola in Maharashtra. In this way, a large part of Central India has been hit by Corona.

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan has already indicated to take a strong step. The state government had said that people will have to be careful or else they may have to face strict restrictions.

797 new cases of corona noted on Monday

 797 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Madhya Pradesh on Monday and with this, the total number of people found so far infected with this virus has reached 2,69,391 in the state. Three more persons have died due to the disease in the state in the last 24 hours. So far, the number of people who have died from this disease has reached 3,890 in the state.

259 new cases in Indore on Monday 

259 new cases of Covid-19 noted in Indore on Monday, while 199 new cases in Bhopal. The official said that out of a total of 2,69,391 infected people in the state, so far 2,60,477 patients have gone home healthy and 5,024 patients are being treated in various hospitals. On Monday, 510 patients were discharged from the hospital after recovering.
