North Korea, 16th May 2022: Covid-19 cases in North Korea are increasing continuously. According to the country’s official news agency, Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), during the last 24 hours, 3,92,920 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. After this, the total number of infected patients in the country increased to 12,13,550.

Eight people have also died in the country.

KCNA informed that 1,52,600 patients have also been cured in the last 24 hours in the country. According to the agency, so far about six and a half lakh patients have been cured in the country, while more than 5.64 lakh patients are undergoing treatment. Given this, President Kim Jong-Un has issued strict orders.

He has given clear instructions to the officials that whatever strict steps can be taken regarding Corona prevention and which are felt, should be taken. AFP quoted state media as saying that Kim Jong-Un has also instructed the army to distribute medicines. AFP reported that 50 deaths have occurred in the country so far due to the Corona epidemic.

Given the prevention of the corona epidemic, Kim Jong-Un reconvened the Politburo meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea on Sunday, in which measures were discussed to prevent the Corona epidemic. Many senior officials associated with the Ministry of Health also participated in this meeting. In this meeting, Kim instructed officials, and ministers to ensure an uninterrupted supply of medicines and to constantly monitor the situation of the epidemic. In this, instructions have also been given to all the states to ensure a timely supply of medicines.

 In this meeting, Kim has also issued an order to open all the drugstores 24 hours. He has also warned all the officers and ministers not to make any mistakes in preventing the Corona epidemic. He has said that if anyone is found not carrying out their responsibility properly, then action will be taken against them.
