Ukraine, 25th February 2022: Amidst the conflict going on between Russia and Ukraine, reports are saying that Russian troops have captured many areas of Ukraine. However, Ukraine is currently denying these claims.

Meanwhile, the Indian government is concerned about the early return of Indians stranded in Ukraine. With the help of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, a team of Indian nationals from Ukraine has been sent to the Romanian border, from where they will fly to India tonight. According to reports, two special aircraft have been sent from the Indian side to the border of Romania.

The Indian Foreign Ministry is active in the camp office of Ukraine and the cities of Liv and Chernivtsi in western Ukraine. Additional Russian-speaking officers are sent to these camp offices. The officials are helping Indian citizens. The first batch of Indian students has now left for the Ukraine-Romania border from Chernivtsi.

Significantly, the Government of India has prepared a plan for the safe return of Indian students and citizens trapped in Ukraine. According to reports, two chartered flights of the Government of India will take off from India for Bucharest, Romania to evacuate Indian nationals by the evening of February 25. Air India is also assisting in this entire evacuation process.
