Uttar Pradesh, January 30, 2021: A major accident occurred on the Moradabad-Agra highway in Uttar Pradesh. A minibus collided with a truck and a tanker. Ten people died tragically in this accident while around 12 people are said to be injured. CM Yogi Adityanath has announced that the state will provide financial assistance of two lakh rupees to the families of the deceased and 50 thousand rupees to the injured.
The injured have been admitted to Moradabad District Hospital. This accident happened on Saturday morning. This private bus was traveling from Bilari to Moradabad. It collided with a truck and tanker near Nanpur. Eyewitnesses say that the incident happened due to overtaking. As soon as the accident was reported, the police reached the spot with the help of people nearby and took the injured to the hospital. DM and SSP reached the spot and took stock of the relief work itself.
The SSP said that a forensic team has also been called on the spot. He said that the accident occurred in the rush of one vehicle overtaking another. The three vehicles collided badly. He informed that the relief work is almost complete on the spot. 10 people have died in the accident.
CM Yogi Adityanath instructed the officers of the district administration to provide proper treatment to the injured people and wished them a speedy recovery. He has deeply mourned the deaths of the people in the accident. He has expressed his condolences to the bereaved families of the dead, praying for the peace of departed souls.
