KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 05, 2020: To redress the grievances of the public of the far flung areas, District administration Kishtwar today Organised the block divas in four blocks of Paddar, Mughal Maidan, Drabshalla and Marwah.

At Drabshalla block divas was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr Amir Hussain. BDC chairpersons Drabshalla and Trigam, Tehsildar Drabshalla, BDO Drabshalla, Naib Tehsildar Drabshalla among others were present in Block Divas at Drabshalla.

Participation of people in large number was witnessed in the programme at Drabshalla.

People raised number of grievances including the strengthening of local infrastructure. Most of the grievances were redressed on the spot and rest were forwarded to concerned quarters for redressal.

Meanwhile, 20 individual beneficiary oriented certificates were issued, while ACR directed the Tehsildar Drabshalla and others to provide the designated services at the door steps of rural masses.

Similar grievances redressal camp was also held at Gulabgarh Paddar which was presided over by SDM, Varunjeet Singh Charak.

Block Development Chairman Paddar, Arpan Singh, Tehsildar Major Singh and BDO Paddar Din Mohd Affaqi and others were present there. The SDM listened to the grievances of the public and redressed some of them on the spot, while others were documented for immediate redressal through concerned quarters.

A total of 41 individual beneficiary oriented certificates which includes 15 domicile certificate, 3 income certificates, 23 revenue extracts were issued in favour of the beneficiaries at Paddar.

At the Block headquarter Mughal Maidan the block divas witnessed the issuance of 65 domicile certificates and 30 Income certificates to the beneficiaries under the chairmanship of SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar

The remotest Marwah area of the district also celebrated the block divas with great zeal and enthusiasm.
