Bhopal, 11 April 2022: After the violence on the occasion of Ram Navami in Khargone of Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has come into action mode. The action of demolishing the houses of the rioters started on Monday. Houses have been demolished in the presence of a heavy police force in the sensitive small Mohan Talkies area of the city.

There was a communal dispute during the procession on Ram Navami on Sunday. In which the rioters had committed stone-pelting and arson. The fire broke out in different parts till 3 o’clock at night. Khargone SP Siddharth Chaudhary and 10 police personnel were also injured in the incident.

Regarding this incident, the CM of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the accused involved in this violence have been identified and they will not be spared. The CM said that the incident that took place in Khargone on the occasion of Ram Navami is unfortunate. There is no place for rioters in the land of Madhya Pradesh. Strict action will be taken against them.

A senior official has informed the media that the illegal construction of rioters has been broken. It has also been revealed that some employees have been involved, and have just been fired from the service.

According to the information received, the service of 3 out of 4 government employees involved in the riots has been terminated. Meanwhile, action has been taken to suspend a government employee. After identifying the rioters, their houses have been demolished by bulldozers.

Giving information, Indore Commissioner Pawan Sharma said that the government has a zero tolerance policy. Under which this action is being taken. He said three of the four government officials involved in the violence have been terminated from jobs. One of them has been suspended.

Congress formed committee
Khargone DIG Tilak Singh has said that 60-70 people have been detained after throwing stones at the Ram Navami procession on Sunday. Some houses and vehicles were also burnt by the rioters. The SP has also been shot in the leg. His condition is stable now.

Meanwhile, the Congress party has formed a committee to investigate the Khargone case. There are five people in it. Sajjan Singh Verma has been made chairman on the instructions of former CM Kamal Nath. Also on the committee are former minister Mukesh Nayak, former minister Bala Bachchan, former MP Gajendra Singh Rajukheri and chairman of the minority cell Sheikh Alim.
