REASI, JUNE 15, 2021: District Development Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh, today listened to public grievances by attending 27 calls in one and a half hour session under the weekly Programme- Reasi Beeps Beat the Pandemic.

The departmental functionaries were also available live in the programme for listening to the grievances of the general public.

Responding to the demands, the DC issued on the spot directions to the concerned authorities for immediate redress of the issues raised by the Public. He said the ‘Reasi Beeps Beat the Pandemic’ imitative has been taken as part of the endeavour of the District Administration to reach out to the common masses and redress their grievances amid the tough times of pandemic.

“This unique initiative *Reasi Beeps Beat the Pandemic* has been initiated to stay connected with the public during the COVID pandemic and resolve their problems,” he said.

During the Programme, the callers from various areas of the district especially from the far flung areas of Mahore and Thuroo highlighted their problems, developmental issues and grievances.

Speaking on the occasion, Charandeep Singh directed the concerned officers to work more effectively and note down issues of public to redress them faster.

Observing that most of the issues projected by the people were regarding road connectivity, the DC directed the concerned Xens to prepare a chart to keep a track of the progress and status of works being executed in their jurisdiction and solve the public grievances at the earliest.
