He said that restrictions in terms of Section 144 Cr PC and Section 34 of Disaster Management Act, 2005 have been imposed in the whole district wherein all shops and business establishments shall remain closed.

He said there will be complete restriction on the movement of public and public transport and only private vehicles with valid movement passes shall be allowed to move.

He stressed on the govt employees to attend their offices on regular basis, failure of which shall render strict legal action against the absentees.

It is pertinent to mention that the district administration had relaxed restrictions by opening shops and other business establishments through odd-even system after it imposed restrictions for 5 days from 17 July to 21 July, 2020.

Now, restrictions have again been imposed from 22 July to 27 July, 2020 after a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases have been reported from past few days and that too from outside of containment and buffer zones.
