Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji has asked tomaintain communication with all the Divisional Commissioners and DMs in view of the second phase of ‘unlock’ commencing on 8th June, 2020. He directed the officials to do regular inspection of Covid and Non-Covid hospitals and ensure adequate arrangements in quarantine centres and community kitchens. Presiding over a high-level Unlock review meeting here at his officials residence on Sunday, he instructed to coordinate with the nodal officers appointed in the districts to assist with the DMs. He directed all the Divisional Commissioners to review developmental and revenue related activities in their respective divisions. The Chief Minister said that the officers of the health department in the rank of Additional Director/Joint Director have been deployedto look after the running of Covid and Non-Covid hospitals. He said they should make regular inspections and monitor the arrangements
in these hospitals. The Chief Minister also asked to expedite construction activities and make an action plan in this regard. He said that the employment to labourers/workers can be given in the Expressways, Medical College, Universities, Roads, canals etc. after the construction works get going. He said the further job opportunities should be explored in Industries, Agriculture, Horticulture, Construction Business etc. also which in turn will help in the reconstruction of the state. He said that an extensive action plan should be prepared for employment to labourers/workers from 15th June, 2020. He reiterated that all the labourers/workers should be given sustenance allowance and ration kits compulsorily. The Chief Minister also directed to undertake sanitisation work in the urban and rural areas regularly which will help in preventing the infection. He called upon the Urban Development and Rural Development departments to make coordinated efforts to facilitate loans to street vendors. He asked to prepare an action plan with regards to benefit the labourers/workers by providing them comfortable and safe houses on reasonable rent under the provisions of the PM special economic package. The Chief Minister also directed to pay special attention to the health services in the medical colleges of Agra, Aligarh, Meerut, Kanpur, Gautambudh Nagar and Firozabad in view of the Covid-19. He said the doctors, Nurses etc. should take regular rounds in the Covid and Non-Covid hospitals in the state. The CM asked to maintain 48-hour backup of the oxygen availability in the hospitals. Also, the social media should be monitored regularly to put a check on antisocial activities.
