Patna, October 06, 2020: Seats have been shared in the NDA for the Bihar assembly elections. JDU has got 122 seats in the 243-seat Bihar Assembly, out of this JDU will give Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha 7 seats from its quota, it means JDU will contest 115 seats.
BJP has got 121 seats. BJP will give some seats to Mukesh Sahni’s Vikasshil Insan Party with its quota. During the press conference in Patna on October 06, 2020, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced the seat sharing. Nitish Kumar said that NDA will contest elections in the state on the strength of its work.
During the press conference, Deputy CM Sushil Modi said that if Ram Vilas Paswan ji were healthy today, then this situation would not have arisen.
He said, “If required, we will write to the Election Commission, that only four parties associated with the NDA can use the Prime Minister’s photo, no one else will have the right to use the Prime Minister’s photo. No matter how much the number comes, but, CM will be Nitish Kumar. Nobody should have any confusion about this.”
During the press conference BJP state president Sanjay Jaiswal said, “Under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, BJP will contest elections and form a government, there is no scope for any kind of doubt in it.”
Sanjay Jaiswal said, “NDA leaders want Ram Vilas Paswan to get well soon, but in Bihar BJP will contest elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. There is complete clarity about this.
