Patna, April 23, 2021: As many as 8818 patients suffering from COVID-19 recovered in the last 24 in the state. As per data provided by the Bihar Health Department 77.09 per cent recovery rate has been registered. However, 13374 new cases have been found in the state which includes 2207 capital Patna and this is a worrying situation. Along with Patna, Gaya also registered 1133 cases and 589 in Saran.

Meanwhile, registration for corona vaccination has started for those above 18 years of age from Wednesday. Vaccination for these will start from May 1.

Meanwhile, 16 patients died at NMCH in Patna on Wednesday there were 3 women among them. 11 infected patients lost their life at Patna AIIMS. On Wednesday, 47 new patients were admitted while 24 recovered and went home.

Of the patients who died in NMCH on Wednesday, 11 were residents of Patna, 2 from Vaishali, 2 from Siwan and one from the Buxar district. 9 patients of Corona died at Magadh Medical College Hospital in Gaya.

Also, samples collected from persons of other state are 45.
