Patna, April 28, 2021: Coronavirus new cases increasing rapidly in the state. The state is facing a shortage of beds, oxygen and medicine in the hospitals. Patna becomes a hot spot for new patients. Now the state government has decided to build a 100 bed COVID hospital with an ICU facility in the Patliputra Sports Complex located at Patrakar Nagar in Kankarbagh.

It is being told that it will be completely ready in the next two to three days. This will be a temporary hospital and there will be no shortage of medicines and oxygen. Last year also the state government had built a temporary hospital here.

Last time there was only an ICU facility of 20 beds. The Pataliputra Sports Complex has a large hall as well as many rooms. Along with this, health workers will be deployed along with doctors in every shift. After the commencement of this COVID Hospital, space will be available for 100 patients.

Apart from there will be a kitchen arrangement to feed patients on time. According to the information, once the corona infection is over, it will be converted into a sports complex again.
