Bihar: 7870 New COVID-19 Positive Cases Reported In State Including 1898 In Patna

Patna, 17 April 2021: The rate of corona infection in Bihar is increasing rapidly. A total of 7870 new cases have been reported across the state in the last 24 hours. Among these, the figure of Patna is frightening. As many as 1898 corona infected patients have been found in Patna. The most worrying thing is that the recovery rate has come down.
On Saturday, two female and one male patient died at NMCH in Patna. Both women were aged 60 and 48 years while the male patient was 55 years old. All three were from different areas of Patna. Two have also died in AIIMS Patna.
On Friday, 6253 new cases of corona infection were reported, while 23 infected lost their lives. In this, 11 people have died in PMCH, while 9 people have died in NMCH. During the treatment at Patna AIIMS, 3 infected people lost their lives. There is a rapid decline in the recovery rate between death and infection. On Friday, the recovery rate decreased by 1.22%.
By late Friday night, 1364 new cases were reported in Patna. 590 new cases occurred in Gaya within 24 hours. There are 386 new cases in Bhagalpur. 393 in Muzaffarpur, 257 in Begusarai, 182 in Aurangabad, 142 in Bhojpur, 144 in East Champaran, 153 in Gopalganj, 139 in Jehanabad, 92 in Madhepura, 173 in Munger, 117 in Nalanda, 100 in Nawada, 137 in Rohtas, 115 in Saharsa, 115 in Samastipur, 248 in Saran, 147 in Samastipur, 117 in Vaishali and West Champaran. The pace of infection is increasing rapidly in these districts.
