Uttar Pradesh, 14th August 2021: UP CM Yogi Adityanath tests positive for Covid-19, Yogi himself has informed by tweeting that on seeing the initial symptoms, I got myself examined and my report has come positive. CM Yogi has tweeted that all the activities of the state government are being conducted normally.

Meanwhile, all those who have come in contact with me must get themselves checked and take precautions. Earlier this morning, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has also been found Corona positive. Apart from this, the Corona report of Ashutosh Tandon, a minister in the Yogi government has also come positive.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had isolated himself from Tuesday itself. He was doing all his work virtually from his residence. He addressed the team 11 meetings to be held daily on the Corona situation on Tuesday. The Chief Minister tweeted on Tuesday that some officials of his office have been infected with Corona.

UP ranks second in the country in terms of corona infection. According to the data, the number of corona cases being confirmed daily in Uttar Pradesh has also increased by 204 percent in the last week. There were 18021 new case reports in one day here on Tuesday. This is the largest figure in the state so far. During the 24 hours, 85 Covid-19 patients died.

There are currently 95 thousand 980 positive cases in the state. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had isolated himself on Tuesday after several CM office officials were positive. While in isolation, CM Yogi is monitoring the arrangements for the corona patients. More than 4000 ambulances are being arranged for Covid-19 patients in UP.

Meanwhile, the Yogi government has once again fixed the fees for various investigations in non-government or private sector hospitals in view of the fast-growing corona infection in the state. This has been done so that private hospitals and super private labs that provide super specialty treatment cannot charge arbitrary fees. On Tuesday, the Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health issued an order for the tariff rates. Private hospitals have also been warned that if they violate the order, action will be taken against them under the Pandemic Act.
