New Delhi, 30th May 2022: The final result of UPSC Civil Services, 2021 was declared on Monday, with Delhi’s Shruti Sharma securing All India Rank one (AIR 1).

Shruti Sharma said she knew she would clear the UPSC exam, but topping the exam was like a dream come true.

Shruti did her graduation from the famous St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. After this, she enrolled in MA History at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), which she could not complete. She took her UPSC coaching from Jamia Millia Islamia Residential Coaching Academy (RCA). Shruti hails from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Shruti wanted to become an IAS and this was her very first attempt at the exams.

A total of 23 candidates have cleared the civil services exam from Jamia RCA this year. 52 students studying in the residential coaching academy (RCA), which has been run on Jamia Millia Islamia campus for years, had cracked the main examination of civil services.

In the year 2019, 30 candidates of RCA got success in the UPSC exam. Out of this, 25 candidates had received training by staying in RCA and 5 candidates had taken training in the mock interview programme.
