Delhi, 3rd December 2022: According to the needs of the users, different credit cards are launched by credit card companies, through which the benefits of consumer offers are given.
The Premier Card of IRCTC-SBI Card (IRCTC-SBI Card Premier) enables assured discounts on train and air travel. Along with this, facilities like insurance on train and railway journeys, waiver of surcharge on the purchase of fuel, and complimentary entry to the railway lounge are available.
According to the SBI Card website, on purchase of this card, the customer is given a welcome gift of 1500 reward points, whose point is worth Rs 1. You can link this card with your IRCTC login ID. The advantage is that you can redeem these reward points whenever you book a ticket by logging into the IRCTC website and mobile app (Android only).
Along with this, 2500 reward points are available for spending Rs 50,000 on travel in a financial year, while the number of these reward points increases to 5,000 reward points for spending Rs 1,00,000.
On this card, you are given a complimentary insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh in case of a train accident. At the same time, in case of an air accident, this cover becomes Rs 50 lakh.
According to a tweet by IRCTC, you will be given a five per cent discount on booking air tickets on the IRCTC app with this credit card. Along with this, a fraud liability cover of Rs one lakh is also given.
Complimentary railway lounge access eight times on this credit card. However, you can avail of this benefit only twice a quarter.
