Amritsar, 6th June 2022: On the anniversary of Operation Blue Star, the atmosphere in the Darbar Sahib has become hot. Simranjit Singh Mann, the head of Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar has reached Shri Akal Takht Sahib to take part in Ardas. Along with this, tight security arrangements have been made in the city.

On the anniversary of Operation Blue Star, slogans of Khalistan Zindabad were raised in the Sri Harmandir Sahib complex on Monday. The warm-minded organisations waved posters of Khalistan, Bhindranwala and Deep Sidhu. A large number of police forces in civil uniform have also been deployed on the anniversary of Operation Blue Star. Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib said that independence has weakened Sikhs religiously and politically.

Here for the first time, an LED screen has been installed near Sri Akal Takht Sahib for the Sangat. Simranjit Singh Mann, the head of Shiromani Akali Dal, Amritsar, reached Sri Akal Takht Sahib to take part in the Ardas. Along with this, tight security arrangements have been made in the city. For the past several days, security agencies have sealed the city from all sides. Ten thousand police and paramilitary personnel from across Punjab are keeping an eye on every corner of the city.
By imposing Section 144 in the city, there is also a ban on carrying a licensed weapon. Vehicles are being continuously checked at the entrances of the city. 90 places have been blockaded through barricading. Along with this 110 PCR teams are continuously patrolling the city.

Four thousand soldiers (in plain clothes and uniform) have been deployed around Darbar Sahib and on Heritage Street. The intelligence teams of the police are constantly monitoring the activities of the hot-blooded people. The railway station, bus stand, Shri Durgyana Teerth, Shri Ramtirth, and the entry gates of the goods are being continuously searched. A large number of police forces have been deployed around Heritage Street and Sri Darbar Sahib. Workers of Dal Khalsa have also reached the Akal Takht in large numbers to take part in the congregation.
