New Delhi, February 1, 2021: The Arvind Kejriwal government has given a big relief in view of the continuously declining Corona-19 figures in the capital Delhi. The government has increased the maximum number of people at weddings and other social programs by issuing directions.

According to the order of the Delhi government, if social, religious, sports entertainment, cultural, wedding or funeral is being held in a closed place, a maximum of 200 people are allowed to gather. At the same time, if the same program is being held in an open space, then there is no limit to the maximum number of people.

Apart from this, according to the central government guidelines, the Kejriwal government has also allowed the opening of cinema halls, swimming pools and stadiums in Delhi along with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

1. Cinema halls will now be able to run with their 100% capacity i.e. viewers will be able to sit on all the seats and watch the film.

2. Permitted to open swimming pool.

3. Opening of stadium for sports event was also allowed.

4. Trade exhibitions were also allowed.

Demonstration and approval of fair

The government has approved the organization of trade related exhibitions and fairs in Delhi. However, it will be mandatory to arrange social distancing, face mask cover, Arogya Setu app, thermal screening during the event. The gathering will have to be done according to the venue of the venue. No sick person will get admission at the venue. CCTV cameras will have to monitor the crowd.
