New Delhi, 13th May 2021: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the Civil Services Prelims Exam which was to be held on June 27. In view of the corona epidemic in the country, the UPSC has postponed the examination.
An official notice has been issued on the official website upsc.gov.in. on Thursday. The exam will now be held on October 10. Candidates who have applied for appearing in the examination can check the notice issued on the official website.
As per the notice issued, “Due to the circumstances arising out of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Union Public Service Commission has postponed the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021, which was scheduled to be held on June 27, 2021. Now this exam will be held on October 10, 2021. “
Students on social media have been demanding to postpone the exam for a long time. Last year too, due to the threat of corona infection, the civil service exam was postponed from May 31 to October 04, 2020. The Commission has earlier postponed the Combined Medical Examination and other examinations.
