New Delhi, 3rd May 2021: Amid the ongoing Corona crisis in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to increase the number of medical staff. Due to this, the NEET-PG Exam has been postponed for at least four months.

According to the decision by the central government, the duty of MBBS final year students will be assigned for monitoring patients with mild COVID-19 symptoms. On behalf of the PMO, it has been said that those who have completed 100 days of COVID-19 duty in the medical staff will be given prominence in the recruitment of upcoming government jobs.

Along with this, the duty of medical interns will also be imposed under the supervision of senior doctors in COVID Management. According to the PMO, medical personnel who have completed 100 days of work in COVID Duty will be awarded the “Covid National Service Samman”.

The medical NEET 2021 was supposed to be held on August 1, 2021, but the NEET exam has been postponed for the time being in view of the circumstances.
