Bengaluru, 19th November 2022: As soon as Twitter was bought by American billionaire Elon Musk, the company fired a lot of employees and about 90 percent of Twitter employees in India have lost their jobs. Amidst this, Indian microblogging Koo has announced to give jobs to the employees fired from Twitter

Mayank Bidawatka, the co-founder of Koo, has indicated this in a tweet and said that his company is ready to hire ex-Twitter employees.
In his tweet, Mayank wrote, “#RIPTwitter We will be hiring some Twitter ex-employees to expand and improve our platform.”
Since Friday (November 18), morning #RIPTwitter is trending on Twitter.
According to reports, the remaining Twitter employees are quitting their jobs themselves and are unhappy with Elon Musk’s attitude. Twitter has temporarily closed its office till Monday and employee tags have also been disabled for all employees.
Koo has made a place as a domestic microblogging platform. This social platform, which was launched about three years ago, has recently crossed the figure of 50 million downloads. On Koo, users get the option to share long posts and use the app in their local language.
