New Delhi, 30th March 2023: With 3,016 new cases recorded today (March 30), COVID-19 infections in India have increased by 50% daily.

The country’s COVID-19 death toll has increased to 5,30,862 with 14 additional fatalities reported in the last 24 hours, including eight reconciled deaths by Kerala and three each from Maharashtra, Delhi, and Himachal Pradesh.

The daily positivity rate was 2.73 percent.

According to ministry statistics updated at 8 a.m., the weekly positivity was 1.71 percent, while the daily positivity was 2.73 percent.

4.47 billion cases have been reported overall. (4,47,12,692).

The nationwide COVID-19 recovery rate is 98.78 percent, while active cases currently make up 0.03 percent of all infections, according to the health ministry website.

4,41,68,321 individuals have recovered from the illness, and the case fatality rate has been reported at 1.19 percent.
