New Delhi, 15th December 2022: According to the Indian Air Force, the last of the 36 IAF Rafale aircraft arrived in India after a brief mid-air refueling from a UAE Air Force tanker aircraft. It then took off from France to reach India.

 

The IAF tweeted, ” The FEET DRY! The Pack is Complete. The last of the 36 IAF Rafales landed in India after a quick en-route sip from a UAE Air Force tanker. Shukran jazeelan.”

 

On July 29 of last year, the first group of five Rafale jets arrived in India. In 2016, India and France signed an intergovernmental agreement whereby Paris agreed to provide New Delhi with 36 Rafale fighter jets for Rs 60,000 crore.
