Pakistan, 28th October 2022: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan once again praised India fiercely. It is to be known that Imran Khan is a fan of India’s foreign policy. Imran Khan was seen praising India in the very first speech of his Independence March, which started on Friday. He not only praised India’s independent foreign policy but also praised India for buying oil from Russia. In fact, amid the Ukraine war, India continued to purchase Russian oil in line with its national interests, despite pressure from Western countries. Imran Khan liked this idea very much.

Imran Khan made these remarks on Friday during the start of his long march to Islamabad from Liberty Chowk in Lahore. To demand fresh elections, Imran Khan is once again taking out a long protest march which is about to go to the capital Islamabad. During his maiden speech, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that India is buying oil from Russia as per its wish, but Pakistanis are slaves who help them to take decisions for the betterment of their country’s people.

He said, “The decisions of this country should be within the country. If Russia is giving cheap oil and if I have the option to save my countrymen, then we don’t need to ask anyone. No one should have this right. What do we have to do or not? India can take oil from Russia, but slave Pakistanis are not allowed to do so. I want to see a free country where justice is done, and people get security.”

Imran Khan said that this is the most important march that he is starting. He said, “My motive is only one. We were being liberated from the British, and it is time that we start Hakiki Azadi. This is my message to all Pakistanis. This march is not for politics or elections. It is for religion. The purpose of the rally is only that I want to liberate Pakistan.”

This is not the first time Imran has praised India. Earlier too, Imran Khan had praised India for an independent foreign policy. Imran Khan has accused the US of conspiring since he was ousted from power in April. Criticizing the Joe Biden administration, Imran Khan praised India on several occasions. He termed India did not respond to Western demands and continued to buy Russian oil despite being a “strategic ally” of the US. Earlier during a massive gathering in Lahore, Imran Khan’s PTI party played a video clip of India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, where the Indian minister said that India will do what is best for its people.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan is preparing to launch a protest march from Lahore to Islamabad to put pressure on the government to announce the date of the general elections soon. Supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party on motorcycles gathered at the famous Liberty Chowk carrying party flags and will proceed towards the capital via the historic GT road. PTI chief Imran Khan (70) is scheduled to reach Islamabad on 4th November. He has requested the government to give formal permission to his party to organize the rally. His party has named this protest ‘Hakiki Azadi March’ which means march for the real freedom of the country.

It is not clear whether he will go back after the rally or stage a sit-in in front of the Parliament House as he did during the 2014 protests when his supporters staged a 126-day sit-in in front of the Parliament House. Organizers had announced that the march would begin at 11 a.m., but it was delayed and it is not known when it will start.
