Lucknow, 14 June, 2020: Describing human resource as backbone of the industrial sector, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji on Saturday, said that this backbone is now available in the state in the form of labourers. “These labourers have built the society as well as the nation by their sweat and now onwards, these labourers and workers will rebuild Uttar Pradesh, the CM exhorted while presiding over a high-level Unlock review meeting at his official residence. While directing industrial development department and MSME department to explore every possible opportunity to provide jobs to labours and workers, he said that an App should be developed for supply of manpower to service providers and industrial units.

The CM stressed the need of providing social and economic security to labourers/workers and said that they should be given insurance cover. He also asked to expedite developmental schemes of the Centre and the State government to create as much jobs for the labourers as possible. During the meeting, the CM was apprised of the brisk speed of the construction of Poorvanchal Expressway and Bundelkhand Expressway. Asking to keep all arrangements in the Covid hospitals up to the mark, he said the patients should be monitored constantly and the doctors and nurses are expected to take rounds regularly. He said the unclean environment breeds infection hence the cleanliness has to be maintained in the hospitals with proper arrangement of bio medical waste disposal. The CM said that the oxygen level of the corona patients should be checked frequently by pulse oximeter and make available oxygen immediately if required by a patient. He said that serious Covid patients require oxygen so oxygen availability should be ensured in the hospitals. He also directed to keep ventilators in functional mode and ensure presence of trained doctors and paramedics to operate those. The CM also asked to take all measures to control the death rate due to Covid. He said that the menacing Corona has been an invisible enemy and till some effective medicine or vaccine is developed, prevention is its only cure. Public should be made aware of the prevention against Corona. They should be told about the ways and
means to enhance body immunity to counter it. For enhancing the immunity, the advisory of Ayush Ministry, Government of India regarding diet should be followed, he said. The CM said that people should be told that hiding the symptoms of Corona will not help and they should seek medical advice immediately as the first symptom appears. He said that awareness should be created to download ‘Arogya Setu’ and ‘Ayush Kavach-Covid’ Apps in their mobile phone. He reiterated that complete discipline is required including maintenance of social distancing and mandatory use of masks during unlock period for prevention of Corona. He also asked the police to do regular patrolling and prevent crowd gathering at public places.
