Lalganj (Uttar Pradesh), 30th July 2022: The UPSC exam is one of the toughest exams in India. An aspirant has to put in a lot of hard work and dedication to clear the examinations. There is one family where four siblings have cleared the UPSC exams and are now serving the country as IAS and IPS officers.
The siblings consist of two brothers and two sisters. They are residents of Lalganj in Uttar Pradesh.

The eldest of four siblings, Yogesh Mishra, is an IAS officer. He completed his early education in Lalganj and then did engineering at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology. He took a job in Noida but continued to prepare for the civil services. In 2013, he cleared the UPSC exam and became an IAS officer.

Yogesh Mishra’s sister, Kshama Mishra, who was preparing for Civil Services, could not clear it during her first three attempts. However, she cleared the exam on her fourth attempt and is now an IPS officer.

The third sister, Madhuri Mishra, moved to Allahabad to pursue her post-graduation. After this, she successfully cleared the UPSC exam in 2014 and became an IAS officer of the Jharkhand cadre.

Lokesh Mishra, the youngest among the four, secured the 44th rank in the UPSC exam in 2015. Now he is an IAS officer.

Their father, Anil Prakash Mishra, said, “I was a manager in a Gramin bank. I never compromised on the quality of education for my children. I wanted them to get a good job. I always told them to focus on their studies.”

“Today, my children are IAS and IPS officers. Now, what can I ask of God? I have got everything. I feel proud to see the progress of my children,” he added.
