Hyderabad, 24th December 2022: The government has built Telangana’s first KG to PG institution at Rajanna Sircilla district, as part of Mana Ooru Mana Badi programme of the state government.
An integrated campus from kindergarten to Post Graduation has come up at Gambhiraopet which provides free education to all in English, Telugu, and Urdu.
It is equipped with the latest facilities and the six-acre campus has an area of 10,000 square feet. It can serve more than 3,500 students.
The ideal campus has over 90 classrooms for Anganwadi Kendram, pre-primary school, primary school, high school, junior college, and degree college.
Industries and Information Technology Minister K. T. Rama Rao on Saturday said that the government aims to create such facilities in all districts across the state.
“Let me introduce you to the changing face of education in Telangana,” tweeted Rama Rao, who is an MLA from Rajanna Sircilla district.
In 2014, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) promised the now-completed KG to PG free education scheme. They have completed the project amid the opposition’s criticism of the government not fulfilling its promise.
Actor politician Prakash Raj praised the CM on Twitter for this project, “A leader with a vision… with an intent for a better tomorrow..thank you KCR garu.”
