Lucknow, 22nd January 2022: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi made it clear in an interview with News 24 that her party is ready for an alliance with the Samajwadi Party (SP) after the elections.
Priyanka Gandhi was asked that if there ever came a time when everyone had to come together, would you support Akhilesh? To this, Priyanka Gandhi said, “If such circumstances arise, I don’t think there will be any problem.” To this Priyanka’s reply was, “Provided that the agenda of youth, women are implemented.”
Priyanka said that she is fighting a battle of ideology and her aim is to empower women. “We are fighting very strongly. Will you get power or not? I cannot make this prediction. But I want to say that our struggle is for women and youth. Somebody has to talk to them. This is not just a means to come to power.” Priyanka Gandhi said that the party stands firmly with the poor and weak women who have been nominated by Congress.
Priyanka Gandhi said that whatever the results come on March 10, she will continue to fight for women and youth. During the interview, Priyanka also revealed many secrets of her domestic life. She said that she plays every role with full devotion from home to outside. Priyanka also shared many things related to her kitchen that she said, “I learned Italian food from my grandmother, I cook Thai food, I also cook desi food. But I never compete with my mother-in-law. Their curry-rice or rajma-rice is wonderful. I told them either to teach me or I will never make one. She makes it very tasty.”
Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday promised that 22 lakh youth of UP will be given employment in the IT sector if the party forms the government. Akhilesh Yadav made this announcement at a press conference held. On this occasion, former Bareilly MP Praveen Singh Aron and his wife and Congress candidate Supriya Aron joined the SP. Akhilesh has declared former Bareilly Mayor Supriya as SP candidate from Bareilly Cantt. Apart from this, Rita Singh, wife of former MLA from Sandila, Mahavir Singh also joined the party.
Akhilesh Yadav said in the press conference that in the year 2022, SP takes a pledge to make the slogan of bicycle a reality. Let’s take a pledge to give jobs to 22 lakh youth in the IT sector, for this the government will work. The government which can give 18 lakh laptops, that government will not delay in this direction. IT sector people will get this job. He said, the Samajwadi Party which can distribute 18 lakh laptops, will not take time to give 22 lakh jobs in the field of IT.
The first resolution for the IT sector is that 22 lakh youth will be given employment in this sector. Along with this, he also promised free electricity to the farmers for irrigation. Akhilesh Yadav said, if the government comes in 22, it will give 300 units of free electricity to the people of UP. He also talked about the merits of the SP government that was there before 2017. He said, from 2012 to 17, 18 lakh students were given free laptops in the SP government.
