Pune, 18th June 2022: For the academic year 2022-23, the 10th and 12th Standard examinations will be conducted on a 100 per cent syllabus instead of 75. No extra time will be given for the examination. The school education department has appealed to the students to prepare accordingly.
Due to Covid-10, schools were shut for two years in a row. However, students had to attend class online during this period.
Due to various issues such as lack of understanding of the subject, lack of tools for online learning, and limited online education the 10th and 12th examinations were based on a 40% syllabus.
Sharad Gosavi, State Board President informed that the academic year 2022-23 has started on 13th June. Therefore, written examinations for classes 10th and 12th will be conducted on these complete courses. Similarly, practical examinations will be conducted on 100% of the courses. Therefore, students should prepare for the exam accordingly.
Online learning slowed down students’ writing. The board had given the students an extra 15 to 30 minutes depending on the subject for the examination so that they would not suffer any academic loss. However, there will be no extra time for the exam. Students will have a period of three hours for the examination of 100 marks.
