Bihar: School wall collapses in Khagaria, 6 laborers killed, some more people feared to be trapped in debris

Bihar, March 08, 2021: A wall of a Higher Secondary School fell on Monday in Khagaria district of Bihar. Six workers died in this accident. This is the incident of Chaudha Banni Chandi Tola of Gogari Block. After the information of this accident, police immediately reached the spot and got involved with the help of local people in relief and rescue work. So far, the police have recovered 6 bodies. Some more people are feared trapped under the debris. The removal of wall debris from JCB is in progress.

In connection with the incident, it is being told that the boundary wall of the school remained in the middle school Chandi Tola in Chandi Tola Banni of Maheshkunt police station area. A drain was being constructed below it. Meanwhile, the school wall suddenly collapsed, leaving many laborers in the drain. After the accident, there was chaos everywhere. The panic-stricken families of the labourers arrived at the scene, crying bitterly. Hundreds of people gathered on the spot as soon as the incident was reported.
