Patna, April 27, 2021: The first consignment of Remdesivir Injection arrived Patna late in the night from Ahmedabad within 72 hours on the specific request of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. After this, the medicines were brought from Patna Airport to NMCH Hospital.

According to the information, in this special flight that arrived late at night, the 37 pack of the first batch of Remdesvir arrived in Patna. Not only this, the next batch of Remdesivir injection will reach Patna from Ahmedabad again by this evening.

According to WHO and AIIMS, Remdesivir is not an exact medicine for COVID patients, despite this, this drug is very much in demand in Bihar and doctors also believe that Remdesivir is better and more beneficial than other medicines in the treatment of Corona patients. This is the reason why Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself took the initiative to bring this medicine to Bihar, after which its first consignment from Ahmedabad has reached Patna and its next shipment will be brought to Patna by special flight again by Tuesday evening.
