Patna, 30 April 2021: The night curfew is being strictly implemented in Bihar. Right from the first day in the capital Patna, there is a lot of strictness regarding the night curfew. In order to make the night curfew a success in other cities and markets too, there is a plan to introduce additional police forces on the road. FIRs and arrests are also being taken against those who break the law.

Night curfew is in force in the state from April 19. Since then 28 FIRs and 50 arrests have been made for violations of the Corona Protocol.

In April, more than 56 FIRs have been registered, in which 93 people have been arrested. During this time a fine of Rs 3.65 lakhs has been charged for breaking the COVID protocol.

Additional police personnel have been deployed at major chowk and chauraha in the state for a 12-hour night curfew imposed from 6 pm to 6 am. The Home Department has directed the DMs and SPs of all districts to strictly comply with the Corona Protocol, including the night curfew. It has been requested to close the shops within the stipulated time. There is no needless rush in the market. During the night curfew, punitive action should be taken against people except for emergency and scheduled service.
