New Delhi, 16th May 2022: The notification for the recruitment to the posts of Head Constable in Delhi Police will be issued by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 17th May 2022. With the release of the notification, the process of application will also start, which will run till June 16, 2022. Candidates willing to apply will be able to submit their application by first registering on the official website of Staff Selection Commission, ssc.nic.in and then logging in through the allotted registration number and password. The application fee is Rs 100 for Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment. Candidates will be able to pay this fee online.

Although the detailed notification including the prescribed qualification for recruitment to the posts of Head Constable in Delhi Police has not been issued yet by the Staff Selection Commission, according to the notifications issued in the earlier years, the candidates willing to apply should have 10 or 10 marks from a recognized board. They must have passed the +2 examination. The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on the cut-off date declared by SSC. However, various reserved categories like – SC, ST, OBC, etc. will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules of the Central Government.

As per the notification released in earlier years, the selection process will consist of Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Typing Test on Computer and Computer (Formatting Test) stages.
In the first stage, CBT consists of a total of 100 questions from the subjects General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, English Language and Computer Fundamentals. There is no negative marking in the exam.
