New Delhi, 7th April 2023: A record number of students are now looking to pursue better, higher-quality education, and three boarding schools from the UK are considering opening campuses in India to capitalize on this booming market.

There will be campuses for Wellington College in Berkshire, Harrow School in Greater London, and Somerset’s Millfield School in Pune, Bangalore, and Mumbai, respectively.

The Red Pen, an independent education consultancy, hosted admission directors from top British boarding schools last month in cities all over India.
“Now that India is opening up to international campuses, these institutions have shown interest in building their base in India,” said Namita Mehta, President of The Red Pen.

While there is no set date for when these schools will be completely operational, official announcements will be made this year.
