New Delhi, 27 April 2021: In the midst of the havoc of Corona in India, there is a plan to vaccinate the Corona vaccine as soon as possible to a large population. The third phase of vaccination is going to start in the country from May 1 and the central government has cleared the way for the corona vaccine to be given to all people above the age of 18 years from this day.

Although people of this age will not be vaccinated for free, there are 24 states in the country that have announced that they will provide free of cost Covid vaccine to those above the age of 18 years.
So far, 14.19 Crore people in the country have been vaccinated with the corona vaccine.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa announced on Monday that the citizens of the state will be given the Corona vaccine free of cost. He made this announcement while announcing a 14-day lockdown in the state. The lockdown has been imposed in the state on Tuesday i.e. from 9 o’clock tonight.

Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, R.K. Mathur also announced on Monday that all people will be given the Corona vaccine free of cost. He said that people between 18 and 45 years of age would also be vaccinated for free.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that in the capital, the government will give free corona vaccine to all people above the age of 18 years. For this, 1.34 doses of the vaccine have been approved.
Odisha had announced on Sunday that the Corona vaccine will be given free of cost to all people above 18 years of age in the state.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had told that the state government will spend Rs two thousand crores on this vaccination campaign.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Sunday announced that citizens of the state will also be given Covid vaccine for free. He also said that doses of the vaccine have been ordered for the vaccination campaign.

During the cabinet meeting of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, it was decided that in Maharashtra, people above 18 years of age will be given the free vaccine.

Apart from these states, Uttarakhand, Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Bengal, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh have also announced that they From May 1, those above 18 years of age will apply for free of cost.
