New Delhi, March 22, 2021: The rising pace of Corona in the country has once again started to frighten the masses. In view of the quickly rising cases, many states have announced restrictions. Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh have imposed lockdowns in some cities, while Punjab and Gujarat have imposed night curfew. Apart from this, many states have decided to keep schools and colleges closed as a precautionary measure till March 31 to stop the pace of the pandemic. During this, online classes have been suggested. Many states have also postponed board examinations.

10th and 12th board exams will be offline

Amidst a surge in cases of the pandemic in Chhattisgarh, the Bhupesh Baghel government has ordered all schools to be closed until further orders. Apart from this, it has been decided to promote students of all classes except 10th and 12th without examinations. The order that states the board exams of class 10th and 12th will be offline as per the program was announced earlier by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) complying with all the guidelines issued by the central and state government.

Primary school closed until further orders

The Rajasthan government has said that all primary schools in the state will remain closed until further orders. Apart from this, visitors entering the state from March 25 will have to show a negative report of the RT-PCR test. This report should not be more than 72 hours old. Markets will be closed in all municipal areas of the city from 22 March onwards after 10 pm. Night curfew will be imposed from 11 am to 5 am in Ajmer, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Sagwara, and Kushalgarh.

Classes closed until 31 March

Government and private schools in Bhopal, Indore, and Jabalpur of Madhya Pradesh have been closed till 31 March. However, during this period online education will be conducted and all types of examinations, including competitive examinations, will be done according to the predetermined schedule.

Schools up to 8th closed in Puducherry

In Puducherry, there is an administration alert regarding the corona. In view of increasing cases of infection, an order has been issued to close all the schools from class one to 8th from 22 March to 31 May. In a release issued on Friday by the Director of School Education, the order said that this order will be applicable to all schools affiliated with the State Board, CBSE, and ICSE.

Schools are closed in these states too

At the same time, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Punjab have also ordered the schools to be closed to prevent the pace of the corona pandemic. The Punjab government has ordered the closure of schools and all educational institutions till 31 March. Schools in Gujarat will remain closed till April 10, while Pune in Maharashtra will remain closed till March 31.
