Roorkee, 22nd November 2022: In collaboration with the online digital skills training platform Simplilearn, IIT Roorkee will provide a curriculum on HR Analytics: Unlocking Human Capital. The curriculum consists of live online masterclasses. It will involve practical exposure through hands-on projects and a capstone, industry-relevant case-based learning, and real-world applications of analytics across HR and numerous other areas and sectors.

The Continuing Education Center at IIT Roorkee offers the course (CEC IITR).

According to IIT-Roorkee, the curriculum has been created especially for mid-to senior-level managers and C-suite executives. Along with Simplilearn’s job aid and a certificate of completion from CEC IIT Roorkee, it will include interactive sessions to ensure concept comprehension.

The programme is designed to teach HR professionals at the mid-to-senior level in all industries how to use analytics for data-driven decisions.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field to be considered. You can sign up for the programme if you are a working professional with more than six years of experience who wants to use analytics to make business decisions. It is not necessary to have prior coding or technological knowledge to join the programme.

The program would be introduced both in India and internationally. Six months of online masterclasses and self-study make up the programme. Foundations of Business Analytics, Statistical Analysis for Business Decision Making, Exploratory Data Analysis and Visualization using R, Predictive Analytics for Business, Data Science and Machine Learning for Decision Making, HR Analytics for People Strategy, and Capstone Projects are among the main ideas covered in the program. Academic masterclasses on HR Analytics Unlocking Human Capital will make up the electives.
