Ranchi, 5th August 2022: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, Nishikant Dubey, claimed, in the Lok Sabha, on Friday that 1800 schools in Jharkhand are getting a holiday on Friday instead of Sunday. He further said that this incident proves the country is moving towards “Islamization.”
MP Dubey raised this matter during the Zero Hour in the House, stating that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) should investigate the situation to send a strong message. Dubey said, “I am drawing attention to the Islamization happening in the state of Jharkhand. The balance of population has changed in some districts of the state. Bangladesh is near, which is why it is happening.”
According to him, “Suddenly, 1800 such schools in Jharkhand have added the word ‘Urdu’ in their name. Sunday is not a holiday in these schools; instead, Friday is.” The BJP MP said that “the country is moving towards Islamization. Jharkhand is paving the way for it. It should be probed by NIA. This should send a strong message. This will not be tolerated at any cost.”
BJP MP Jayant Sinha raised the issue of the backwardness of Jharkhand and claimed that the state is very backward on many parameters of development. He said that “the state has failed to provide research, opportunities and skill development to its people. Only seven-eight new start-ups have been registered in Jharkhand. The Central Government should direct the State Government to improve its functioning.”
Bahujan Samaj Party MP Danish Ali raised the issue of arrears of sugarcane farmers in Uttar Pradesh and said that the Central Government should ensure farmers get their dues and receive interest too. AIMIM’s Imtiaz Jaleel claimed that 700 farmers committed suicide in seven months in an area of Maharashtra. He said that the government should get it investigated and help the families.
