Rohtak, April 8, 2021: The passenger train, number 04453, had come from Delhi to Rohtak at noon and was about to return to Delhi at 4.45 pm. It was stationed at the yard where three coaches of the train were badly burnt in Rohtak at around 2 pm. Soon after receiving information, several fire brigade vehicles rushed to extinguish the fire. Although the damage could not be averted, still the fire was brought under control within no time. Thankfully, there were no passengers on the train during the fire. The cause of the fire is being ascertained.
Eyewitnesses said the way the fire started and after the flames, the sky was filled with smoke, we have seen this in films only. Before the departure of the train, the person who came to inspect also shared the information with quick effect. Fire brigade vehicles arrived on time, which saved the entire train from burning. But the three coaches were completely burnt.
After coming from Delhi, the train stood on the platform for some time. After this, the train was placed in the yard, from where it was to depart for Delhi again at 4.45 pm.
