Ambala, 27th December 2021: Five people were killed near the Ambala-Chandigarh national highway when a tourist bus collided with two other tourist buses which were parked on the roadside.

The accident happened near Healing Touch Hospital in Ambala. Four were passengers in one bus and another passenger was in another bus. About 10 people have been seriously injured in the accident.

All the injured were admitted to the hospital. The accident happened around 3 am. A bus rammed into the divider. Two buses coming behind it collided one after the other.

Many passengers jumped out of the window and got out. Five people inside the bus died. Four of the deceased were in the front bus and one in the back bus. One bus was completely damaged in the accident.

The police were informed and reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. Bags and shoes were lying on the streets.

The deceased persons are Meena Devi (44) of Chhattisgarh, Rahul (21) of Jharkhand, Rohit (53) of Chhattisgarh, Pradeep (22) of Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh and a 30-year-old person is yet to be identified.
