Meanwhile, four police officers, including a woman, entered his house in plain clothes. Women police beat me while men beat my husband. But at that time we didn’t even know that he was a police officer. My husband kept shouting for help, meanwhile, neighbors started gathering. When his 12-year-old son started filming the incident on his camera, the policemen snatched his phone.”

I was made to sit in the back seat along with the female officer. Two policemen were riding on a two-wheeler. This is when we came to know that the police of Sendamangalam in Namakkal district were taking us. He was taken to the Sendamangalam Police Quarter.”

The woman told that we were neither taken to jail nor in court. The police told us that they would buy food for us and if we asked, we would take care of them.
